The George, in Uffculme reopened its doors to locals, tourists and dog walkers on 4th May 2018.
At The George we offer a haven for locals, tourists, dogs and their owners. Since The George reopened in May 2018, we have been providing our guests with a traditional pub welcome, focusing on a friendly smile and the opportunity to relax with friends and share a glass of West Country Ale, Cider or even a local Gin. Our wines and guest beers change regularly so there is always something new to try if you fancy a change from your regular tipple!
Our reputation for providing excellent, locally sourced, freshly prepared, seasonal homemade food has followed us from Whiddons Bistro in Chagford.
Our Blackboard Specials and Home-Made Desserts are updated frequently, reflecting the best seasonal produce available. Alongside this we offer our Standard Menu of tried and tested favorites which include our renowned Fish & Chips on a Friday and Traditional Sunday Roasts.
We also have a room available for private hire, so if you are thinking of a dinner, party, meeting or any other occasion please do speak to us, we are sure to be able to help.
